Marketing jobs in the media are made up of a Sales Executive, who are people who try and sell as many of the company they are working for stock or service. They try and maintain the relationships with existing companies, they do this by meetings, phone calls,emails and visiting the new customers for new business.
A Publicist's job is to generate press coverage on behalf of their client. They can do this for a celebrity a business they even do this for a book, film and even albums. A publicist's job maintains of writing press releases, managing campaigns and other public realtions. They must also know the selling point of each production of what they are advitising, once they know who the targert audeince is they can then find different ways o advertise the product to reach there target audience.
